We love our school!

Welcome to our new website – your window into the world of Winstanley Community Primary School. It has been created by staff and Governors in order to allow you to get a better insight into why Winstanley is a great place to learn. 

Our school motto is EVERY ONE, EVERYDAY. We believe that every child here is a precious individual who deserves only the best we can offer; that each child should be nurtured academically, socially and emotionally. We also want children to enjoy coming to school and to be able to try new experiences in a safe, supportive environment. 

We also know we cannot educate children in glorious isolation – we need to involve parents and carers, governors, other schools and the wider community. I hope that parents will enjoy the class pages and will help their child to access the interactive elements of the Virtual Learning Network. There will also be opportunities for parents to share their opinions and questions through polls and (eventually) a parent forum site. If you can think of a way to further develop communication with parents through this site, please e mail school or send me a note. 

If you need any further information or would like to have a tour of school, please do not hesitate to contact me.
